Originally from Clondalkin in Dublin, 16 year old singer-songwriter Curtis Walsh moved with his
parents and family to County Laois at a young age from where he began to grow a solid a fanbase by
playing local gigs and entering various competitions. He has supported well known Irish acts The
Academic, Wyvern Lingo, Raglans and The Blizzards while developing and honing his song-writing
craft and stage performances with a view to pursuing a full-time music career.
Curtis has been attending vocal workshops with The Voice of Ireland vocal coach Dr.Trish Rooney as
a result of winning The Una Healy Music Scholarship programme in 2016. Fresh from his Electric
Picnic 2017 performance, Curtis continues to develop his songwriting & performing skills with
number of shows and industry festival events scheduled for the remainder for 2017. Curtis’s debut
EP is scheduled for early 2018.
